Fraser Young is a stand-up comedian with a style all his own. Although he started out in Toronto, he has headlined clubs as far away as Hong Kong, and now makes his home in New York City. After winning awards for his creative and fresh approach to comedy, Fraser soon made several national television and radio appearances, including an episode of Comedy Now!, his own comedy special, broadcast on CTV and TheComedy Network in Canada. In 2005, he became one of the breakout stars of MuchMusics very popular Video On Trial, leading to higher exposure and national recognition. In addition, Fraser’s comedy is highly requested and played on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
Fraser has also broken into the world of writing for television. He was one of two writers for the 2008 NHL Awards, and has written for shows like Producing Parker (Breakthrough Entertainment), Dino Dan (Sinking Ship Productions), and Naked Fashion (Cineflix Media, UK). He has also written multiple episodes of The Latest Buzz(Decode Entertainment), one of which garnered him a nomination for the 2009 Writer's Guild Awards.
